Precast elements for the Hussar Loft student residence in Szczecin

In the Gumieńce district of Szczecin, on ulica Husarów, the structure of Hussar Loft — a rental apartment building — is now standing. The load-bearing external and internal walls and the floor slabs arrived from the plant ready to be set in place, with window openings and lintels formed in the mould.

We ran the installation through the winter, in snow. The elements are cast in the plant, so the weather on site does not shift the programme — the windows were already fitted on the lower storeys while the walls of the top level were still being erected.
