Compliance and certificates standards, declarations, notified bodies
Formee structural products carry CE marking to the harmonised standards, assessed under system 2+. Factory production control at the Międzyrzecz plant is certified by notified body 0761 — IBMB MPA TU Braunschweig — with certificates valid until 28 September 2027. For the Nordic markets there is additional certification from Nordcert AB in Stockholm, valid until 31 December 2027. The environmental footprint is documented by two ITB-EPD declarations to EN 15804+A2 in the public register of the Building Research Institute.

One plant, four acceptance regimes
We deliver to Poland, Germany, Czechia, Slovakia, Denmark and Sweden. Compliance looks slightly different on each of these markets.
- Poland and the European Union
- CE marking with a declaration of performance for every delivery. System 2+ means a notified body certified the factory production control and keeps it under continuous surveillance.
- Germany
- The certificates were issued by IBMB MPA TU Braunschweig — German notified body 0761, which is the document German building control reads. Structural design follows the Eurocodes with the destination country's National Annex.
- Sweden and Denmark
- Nordcert AB: certificate 2284 for factory production control of group B precast to EN 13369:2018 with Nordcert CB5 requirements — it entitles the plant to the BBC mark, plant identifier PO 24. Plus certificate 7316 for ready-mixed concrete to EN 206:2013+A2:2021 and DS/EN 206 DK NA:2020.
- Czechia and Slovakia
- The same harmonised products and the same CE marking as at home. Declarations are issued in Polish, German, English, Danish and Swedish.
What the client receives
Every delivery comes with the declaration of performance for the batch delivered. Template declarations 01/26–06/26 are published here so the designer and the client can check declared performance before ordering rather than on site.
The acceptance set covers declarations of performance, factory production control certificates, shop drawings and erection plans from Tekla Structures, installation instructions, and environmental declarations when the building is documented for BREEAM or LEED.

Files open in the language of the page where that version exists. MPA Braunschweig certificates are bilingual, Nordcert documents are in English.

Compliance questions that come up at handover
The six asked most often — by designers, site supervision and the client's procurement team.
- Do Formee precast elements carry CE marking?
- Yes. Wall elements to EN 14992:2007+A1:2012, beams and columns to EN 13225:2013, composite floor slabs to EN 13747:2005+A2:2010, ribbed floor elements to EN 13224, stairs to EN 14843 and foundation elements to EN 14991 are harmonised products with CE marking and a declaration of performance. Road slabs fall outside the harmonised standards and carry national declaration 06/26.
- Who issued the factory production control certificates and how long are they valid?
- All six come from IBMB MPA TU Braunschweig — notified body 0761 — under assessment system 2+ for the Międzyrzecz plant. Numbers: 0761-CPR-1148, 1149, 1150, 1151, 1152 and 1153, valid until 28 September 2027. The Nordcert AB certificates (2284 and 7316) are valid until 31 December 2027.
- What documents do I get at delivery and handover?
- The declaration of performance for the delivered batch, the factory production control certificate for that product, shop drawings and erection plans from Tekla Structures, and installation instructions. On request we add the ITB-EPD declarations for building certification.
- Can the elements be used in Germany and Scandinavia?
- Yes. In Germany the same CE marking applies, and the factory production control certificates were issued by the German notified body MPA Braunschweig. In Sweden and Denmark Nordcert certification is added: group B precast to EN 13369:2018 with CB5 requirements and the BBC mark, and ready-mixed concrete to EN 206:2013+A2:2021 with the Danish National Annex DS/EN 206 DK NA:2020.
- Are there environmental declarations for BREEAM and LEED?
- Yes, two type III declarations issued by the Building Research Institute to EN 15804+A2: ITB-EPD 561/2023 for normal-weight concrete precast and 562/2023 for expanded clay concrete products. In modules A1–A3 that is 239 kg CO₂ eq per tonne of normal-weight concrete and 295 kg for LECA concrete. Issued on 1 December 2023 for five years and listed in the public ITB register.
- Who is responsible for structural design and who for shop drawings?
- The building's structural design stays with the client's engineer — including load assumptions and the structural scheme to the Eurocodes. On that basis we produce the shop documentation in Tekla Structures: element drawings, reinforcement, cast-in items and erection plans. The documentation goes to the client for approval before production starts.
